Whether you are celebrating the 1st of July or 4th of July, this is an absolutely fabulous dessert to take to your BBQ, picnic or gathering. It’s a very easy dessert to make and is always a favorite… you won’t have any left-overs with this one.

Directions:
Yield: One 9″ x 13″ pan
- Mix the first three ingredients together with a pastry blender until thoroughly combined.
- Press mixture into the bottom of an ungreased 9”x13” baking pan.
- Bake on center rack of a preheated 400°F oven for 10–15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven and cool completely.
- Blend the cream cheese, milk and icing sugar together until smooth.
- Spread on the cooled crust and refrigerate.
- Make lemon pie filling and cool completely.
- Spread the cooled lemon pie filling over first two layers.
- Whip cream and spread evenly over the lemon pie filling layer.
- Sprinkle with crushed nuts if desired. Store refrigerated until ready to serve.
To serve: cut into squares of desired size and enjoy!!

- 1 cup of All-purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup of Butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup of Finely Chopped Nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds, etc.)
- 250g of Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 3 tbsps of Milk
- 1 cup of Confectioner’s (Icing) Sugar
- 3 cups of Lemon Pie Filling, cooked and cooled completely (recipe here)
- 3-4 cups of Whipped Cream (recipe here)
