This is a great recipe for Tacos! It’s much healthier than the packaged variety because we make our own seasoning mix. The kids will love it and so will you!! It’s quick and easy and soooooo delicious :).
Serve it on hard or soft taco shells, flat bread, toasted buns, corn bread, corn chips, nacho chips or even on top of a salad or hot dog. Top it with your favorite garnish… grated cheese, onions, peppers, shredded lettuce, mushrooms, olives, diced tomatoes, sour cream… the sky is the limit.

Directions:
Yield: 4-6 servings
- In a large skillet over medium high heat, brown ground meat in olive oil
- When meat starts to brown, add chopped onion and garlic
- Continue to cook until meat is thoroughly browned and cooked through.
- Combine seasonings in a small bowl or container and add to cooked meat mixture.
- Stir to combine.
- Stir in broth and continue to cook until mixture thickens.
- Serve hot on soft or hard taco shells, corn bread, flat bread, toasted buns, nacho or corn chips or on top of a salad or hot dog.
- Top with your favourite garnishes: Grated cheese, sour cream, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, olives, onions, peppers, beans, etc.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 tsp of Cayenne Pepper
- 1 tsp of Chili Powder
- 1 tsp of Paprika
- 1 tsp of Cumin
- 1 tbsp of Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp of All-purpose Flour
- 1 medium of Onion, chopped or 1 tbsp of Dried Onion Flakes & 1/2 tsp of Onion Powder
- 3 cloves of Fresh Garlic, chopped or 1 tsp of Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsps of Olive Oil
- 1 lb of Lean Ground Beef or Lean Ground Chicken, Turkey, or Pork
- 3/4 cup of Beef or Chicken Broth or Water with one bouillon cube
